Born in Ireland. She was the daughter of John or Thomas Bonham, a Church of England clergyman 'without care of souls'. The family lived in Cheltenham and London, and Agnes's mother, Barbara Bonham had 'income from a jointure on landed property' (1881 Census Returns). Agnes made some very fine stone carvings at Whitnash Church, Warwickshire (information submitted by Molly Edwards). She may also have executed an altar frontal which was exhibited at 'The Arts and Crafts Society of Ireland Second Exhibition' held in 1899. She died in Croydon where she had been resident since c.1891.
