Sculptor, maker of architectural models
Born in Florence. He arrived in England on 21 June 1848 and two years later married Maria Isaacson. Ambucci worked and exhibited in London until the early 1860s. In 1833 Ambuchi was living at 58 rue Bourbon-Villeneuve, and exhibited a plaster statue entitled 'Narcisse assis sur un rocher et se regardant dans l'eau' in the 'Salon des Artistes Francais' (cat. no. probably 3232 but the typeface is hard to decipher).
