Sculptor
Born in Scotland. She was the daughter of Lord John McLaren, (1831-1910), judge, MP, and Lord Advocate. Studied in Edinburgh under James Pittendrigh MacGillivray. Later attended the Academie Colarossi in Paris and worked for Auguste Rodin (1897-1901). She married William Francis Stuart Wallace (1860-1940) composer and eye specialist. From 1905 she usually exhibited under her married name.
