Sculptor
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland. Studied at Trustees' Academy; moved to London, c. 1862, and studied at Rome; made statues for Scott Monument, Edinburgh, Wellington Monument, Liverpool, etc.; also statuettes and busts. His most important commission was the sculptural scheme for the City Chambers, Glasgow (1880s). He died at 21 Church Road, Richmond, Surrey.
