Sculptor
Raised in Ribe. Moved to Copenhagen c.1902 and worked in the Aluminia faience factory as a painter. Then trained as a journeyman wood carver (1906-10). Noack contributed to the decoration of Viborg Domkirke (Viborg Cathedral) c.1914.
From 1920 she studied in Paris with the sculptor Adam Fischer and the painter Georg Jacobsen, returning to Copenhagen in 1932. Her statues and statuettes of single women and children have earned her the reputation of being one of Denmark's most important twentieth century sculptors.
