Rosamund was the daughter of the painter, Blandford Fletcher (1858-1937). She settled in Oxford. In about 1979 the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford held a joint exhibition of their work entitled: 'Father and daughter: Blandford Fletcher, 1858-1937, painter: Rosamund Fletcher, sculptor'. The entry in the probate calendar describes her as 'of the St Francis Convent, La Bocking, Braintree, Essex', which suggests she may have taken holy orders though she may alternatively have been cared for at the convent.
