Sculptor
Born in Östhammar Municipality, Uppland. Eldh was the son of a blacksmith. From 1897 to 1904 he studied in Paris at the Académie Colarossi. He was one of the most important and productive Swedish sculptors of the first half of the twentieth Century. Eldh collaborated in architectural scheme with a number of Swedish architects, among them Ivar Tengbom, Erik Lallerstedt and Ragnar Östberg. His purpose built studio at Bellevue Park, in the north of Stockholm was designed by the architect, Östberg.
