Sculptor
Born in Aberdeen. He trained with his older brother, William Brodie and at the Trustees Academy in Edinburgh. From 1858 Alexander worked in Aberdeen where he established a flourishing practice. However, In the mid-1860s he suffered a breakdown leading to his suicide on 30 May 1867 aged 37.
