Born in London. She was the daughter of Edward J. Reed (born c.1845, Hatfield), formerly a licensed victualler in 1881. Lillie was responsible for carving the exterior porch to the Lady Chapel of the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool. It is possible she was in a private Nursing Home at 17 Portland Place, Walcot, Bath in 1911. Lillie was not married in 1936 when her mother, Maria Reed, died. The effects left by Lillie's mother were valued at £14,169 0s. 2d, probate was granted to her and her brother, Edward Reed.
