Born in St James's, London. Primarily a stained glass artist, however exhibited a number of decorative schemes including reliefs. For example, 'Design for a portion of an external Keramic frieze' (cat. no. 1120, Royal Academy of Arts, 1877) and 'Historical subjects, executed in carved oak, for a staircase' (cat. no. 1181, Royal Academy of Arts, 1882).
