Sculptor
Born at Lyonshall, Hereford. He was the son of Daniel Peploe, magistrate and landowner. The family seat was Garnstone Castle, Weobley (built by John Nash in 1807 for the Peploe family and demolished in 1958). In 1871 the family had eighteen servants including a butler and governess, as well as a coachman, a groom and three stablemen.
