Awarded two prizes in 1949: the 1st Landseer Prize of £20 and silver medal, for a composition in sculpture of a subject set by the visitor; the 2nd Landseer Prize of £20 and bronze medal, for two models of a figure from the life. In 1950, Robotham won the gold medal and Edward Scott Travelling Studentship of £200 for a composition in sculpture, and the 1st Landseer Prize of £30 and silver medal for a model of a design.
