Awarded a first Landseer Prize of £30 and a silver medal, for a set of three models of a figure from the life, and a two year Landseer Scholarship for sculpture, in 1930. In 1931, Khan won the gold medal and Edward Scott Travelling Studentship of £200, for a composition in sculpture, and a £10 Landseer Prize and silver medal for a model from the antique.
