Born in Bromley, Kent. Married to Elizabeth V. Lunn (born c. 1847) teacher of art embroidery. His daughter Dora Lunn (b.c1882) was also a potter. Lunn was the author of 'Pottery: a hand-book of practical pottery for art teachers and students' published by Chapman and Hall, 1903-10.
