Designer, textile artist and teacher
Born at at Red House, Upton, Bexleyheath, Kent. Died at Kelmscott. She was the youngest daughter of William Morris and became a highly influential designer and creator of needlework. Her designs in other media included wallpapers and she lectured widely on embroidery, costume, and pattern designing.
