Teacher of design, designer, botanical illustrator
She designed lace to many of the linen firms of the period. In 1908, she was officially employed by Frederick Moore, as a botanical illustrator in the National Botanic Gardens (Glasnevin, nr Dublin), taking over from Lydia Shackelton. She painted over a hundred orchids between 1908 and 1919. She had previously taught at the Metropolitan School of Art, Dublin.
