Sculptor
Born in Antwerp. A member of a large family of artists and one of six brothers who all became sculptors. These included Joseph Germain (1808-85), Jean (1825–60), Theodore (1827-67) and Charles (1829-1911). Guillaume was married to Fanny Corr, a Belgian artist of Irish parentage. He moved to Ireland around 1850 and worked there for some years. From the 1840s Guillaume was sculptor to the King of Belgium.
