Born in Kensington, London. She was the daughter of Walter Thomas Fawcett, stock broker who died leaving effects valued at under £90,000 in 1877. Fawcett exhibited at the Society of Women Artists in 1895,1896 and 1908 as well as the Salon des Artists Français.
