Sculptor
Born in Cork. He studied at the Royal Academy Schools in London, and then in Paris, Rome and Louvain. Ambrose was awarded a medal by the Liverpool Academy in 1864. He exhibited twice at the Royal Academy in 1851 and 1864, Graves describes him as a painter.
