Exhibited a design for a medallion at the Royal Academy, London, in 1888. Forrer notes that the artist was 'styled as a medallist' in the accompanying exhibition catalogue. See vol. 7, (1923), p. 543.
According to Forrer he was living in Prestwich, near Manchester in 1888, confirmed by Census Returns of 1891.
