Sculptor, engraver
Born in Cardiff. Son of John Hill (born c.1849 in Westbury-on-Severn), a travelling salesman. Sculpture student at Royal college of Art under Lanteri, probably in the 1890s. He carved the figure of John Constable on the south façade of the V&A. From the early 1900s he taught art in a school (possibly in Cardiff) and then in an art school (possibly at Ramsgate).
