Born at The Rectory, Carlton in Lindrick, Nottinghamshire. She married first, in 1908, the explorer Captain Robert Falcon Scott (1868-1912). In 1922 she married the politician Edward Hilton Young MP, later Baron Kennet of Dene. Died at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington.
