Born in Bristol between October and December. Son of James Gregory Bindon, grocer. George probably studied at the Royal West of England Academy in the 1870s. Around the age of thirty, he moved to London and began exhibiting at the Royal Academy whilst continuing his education at the South London Technical School of Art. Before 1891 he moved to Lichfield where he worked until the early 1900s. Bindon was back in south London by 1911 where he was employed as a sculptor. He may have died in south London in 1922 or Bristol in 1926.
