Sculptor, potter, medallist
Born in Wolstanton, Staffordshire. Son of Joseph Parr (born c.1843) pottery designer and brother of William Jesse Leigh Parr (born c.1880) pottery engraver. In 1911 Harry was teaching part time as an assistant art master at Woolwich Polytechnic. He continued to model for pottery during his career and there are at least three examples of ceramic figures by him from the mid-1920s in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum and in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge.
