Wood carver
Born at West Teignmouth, Exeter, Devon. Little is known of his life and work. However he was the father of the sculptor William John Seward Webber who trained in Exeter and at the Royal Academy Schools. W.J.S. Webber moved to Harrogate in 1888 and remained working there until his death in 1919. After his death Hadassah Webber, his widow, lived with her son, W.J.S. Webber, in Harrogate.
