Sculptor, bronze founder
Born in Italy. He and his family moved to England c.1899 and settled in the Fulham area. Federico began working for a bronze foundry in London and then set up his own business by about 1911. His son was the sculptor, Frederick Mancini (1905-90). Another son, George Mancini (1904-89) owned the foundry of that name in Fountain Bridge Street, Edinburgh which was one of the most highly regarded of the mid-century.
