Born in France. Appears to have married Emma Richardson, a dressmaker from Manchester. She is listed at 60 Margaret Street as a visitor in the 1851 Census Returns and then as 'Emma Joyon' (married) at 20½ Clipstone Street in the 1861 Census Returns. Francois is not listed at the latter address so presume was away.
