Frank Kovacs was of Hungarian parentage. He moved to Canada from Hungary and became a Canadian citizen. Frank trained in the USA as a minister to assist his older brother, Charles, establish a congregation of the Reformed (Calvinist) Church of Hungary in Brantford, Canada. After the death of his brother, Frank moved to the UK and exhibited in London and Paris. He suffered from poor health and died of cancer in 1965.
