History or description: Firm of sculptors, modellers and plasterers formed by David Jackson (c. 1866–1923) and John Holmes (1860–1936) who seem only to have worked together for a brief period. The business produced carving and sculpture for a number of significant Glasgow architects such as CR Mackintosh (Honeyman & Keppie), and also worked from models by other sculptors including Phyllis Archibald and Joseph Armitage.
