Policy: Started under the sanction of the Board of Trade, with a view to 'promoting an interest in Art throughout all sections of the community'.
Rules: Annual membership was 5s. This permitted one chance in the drawing of prizes. Members to whom the prizes were allotted at the Annual Meeting had the right to select their own Prizes. Prizes were selected from the Exhibitions of the Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts.
