History or description: Della Casa granite was used in the Glenrusco Bridge over the Tweed to carry the water mains from Talla Reservoir to Edinburgh. It was also used as a rail bridge during construction with first train crossing on 29th August 1897. This suggests the company were operating in Scotland from around the early 1890s.
