History or description: A number of funerary monuments, statues and busts by Lee and Welsh in the Leeds area and dating from 1852-57 are listed in Roscoe (2009). The partnership was dissolved on 22 June 1870. Lee retired to Guernsey but died soon afterwards in 1873. Welsh continued to trade under his own name. Personal details for the two partners are given in their individual records.
