Foot and Tobay are listed in Forrer, vol. 2, (1904), p. 122, as 'editing' a 'medal on the removal of Temple Bar, 1878; it was struck in lead taken from the roof, and engraved by C. H. and J. Mabb, sculptors' [summary]. Note that in Forrer, vol. 3, (1907), p. 521, the same relationship is described between the firms 'C. H. and J. Mabey' and 'Foot and Tebay' [sic].

Listed in Forrer, vol. 2, (1904), p. 122, as 'editing' a 'medal on the removal of Temple Bar, 1878; it was struck in lead taken from the roof, and engraved by C. H. and J. Mabb, sculptors'. Forrer notes that the medallion is illustrated in C. Welch's 'Numismata Londinensia', pl. VIII. He also gives Welch, 'Medals struck by the Corporation of London to commemorate important Municipal Events', London (1894), as a source. Note that in Forrer, vol. 3, (1907), p. 521, the same relationship is described between the firms 'C. H. and J. Mabey' and 'Foot and Tebay' [sic].
