History or description: The firm was established by Leonard Grist, a former employee of Singers of Frome, Burton and Hollinshead and the Morris Art Bronze Foundry. After the Second World War the company went into voluntary liquidation (1946-7), however it was reformed and continued to trade until the early 1970s.
