History or description: A business owned and run by Ivor John Thomas (born 1873 in Newport) who established a successful business in Swansea and came from a family of monumental sculptors. In 1910 he had two business addresses at 21 Waterloo Street and Danygraig Road, St. Thomas, Swansea ['Kelly's Directory of South Wales' 1910, p. 1336]. Ivor Thomas died in 1913 at the age of forty.
