Rules: 1886:
1. That this Club be called the Swansea Sketching Club.
2. That the subscription be fixed at annual general meeting to be held at the beginning of each session.
3. That all business of the Club be presented at the meeting of the members to open a quorum.

5. As many of the Club as possible shall meet together on a sketching expedition once in every month...
6. A general meeting of Club members shall be held once in each month for the purpose of comparing notes.
7.The members shall meet once a week from 1st Oct. to 31st March for the purpose of...study.
8. An exhibition of the works of the club shall be held at the end of the summer session. All such works to be original.
9. Candidates for membership shall be proposed and elected (or otherwise) at the monthly meeting of the Club - specimens of work done by candidates are to be submitted to the meeting.
10. That this Club consist of members and associates.
