Description: Special exhibition.
Policy: To encourage the practice of the Fine Arts in Scotland by showing to the public representative collections of works mainly from Scottish artists of the time.
In addition to the Annual Exhibitions the Academy occasionally placed on view, at another season of the year, memorial collections of the works of eminent artists recently deceased or special exhibitions, such as this one, of the works of living artists.
