Royal College of Art Exhibition, 1938
Start Date: 15 July 1938
End Date: 30 July 1938
Type: Exhibition
Description: The exhibition was held at three different sites:
1. Royal College of Art - displaying drawing, painting, etching, engraving, architecture and pottery.
2. Western Galleries (Prince Consort Road, London)- displaying printed pottery, textiles, commercial art metalwork, dress design, and bookbinding.
3. Sculpture School (Queen's Gate, London)- displaying sculpture and stained glass.
Works are not named and are undated in the catalogue, but were presumably produced in 1938. Works are listed by number and artist's name only.
Policy: Works shown were carried out by students of the Royal College of Art. A note in the catalogue highlights that some works had been 'carried out by students of the College at the Central School of Arts and Crafts' (presumably some RCA students made their objects at the Central School of Arts and Crafts).
