Policy: The National Art Training School 1894 'Prospectus' notes that 'industrial Students in a School of Art or in the National Art Training School who have paid fees for one year and are prepared to become Teachers, Manufacturers, Draughtsmen, Designers, or Art workmen, are entitled, after taking the Art Class Teacher's Certificates, and within 12 months from the date when they became qualified, to apply for the Certificate, to apply through the Secretary of their Schools for free admission for two consecutive terms to the National Art Training Schools'.
