Description: The exhibition was a retrospective showing of works by Alphonse Legros following his death in 1911. The exhibition comprised of 299 works of painting, drawing, etching, lithographs, medals and sculpture, the majority of which were lent by the Legros family and Frank Bliss. The Fine Art Society and Charles Aitken of the National Gallery, London also assisted with the show.
29 medals lent by L. A. Legrod, Esq. were displayed in a case. 9 sculptures were exhibited in either plaster or bronze - no dates for the works were given [summary].
A similar loan exhibition was held at the Nottingham Castle Gallery in 1912; this, however, displayed only four sculptures and did not include medals.
Display Arrangement: Sculpture and painting were displayed together.
