Description: There were 103 pictures and 3 sculptures on display.

Further exhibitions were held at the gallery; this exhibition was exceptional as it is listed as including works of sculpture. In 1898 show, for example, 'no works of sculpture were received'. In the case of many of the following shows, the works displayed were not always described in detail; it is, therefore, difficult to ascertain whether works of sculpture were included in these shows.

Policy: Art Circle members' works were exhibited at the Gallery. Membership limited to Birmingham artists. Candidates must be personally known to two members and be elected by ballot. Works were for sale.
