Policy: 'A limited number of students will be taught repoussé work', the conditions of entry to these classes were: 'Engravers, chasers, jewellers, brass-workers, designers, modellers, and silversmiths will be requires, in every case, to execute a satisfactory study in each case of the three sections (1) drawing an outline from the cast; (2) modelling from the cast; and (3) modelling from photographs.'
