Trade Modelling Class (Municipal Technical Institute, Belfast)
Type: Art school class
Policy: 'Conditions of Entry - This special Modelling Class is open to all persons engaged in a trade where modelling or plastic methods are used. No entrance examination or preliminary test is required to be passed, and attendance at the normal courses is not stipulated for. At the same time it is desirable that the trade modellers should take a more extended course in drawing, modelling or design, if they are to attain to a high standard of achievement.
The work of this class is adapted to the individual requirements of students, and may include a minimum amount of practice in drawing and design directly related to the practical modelling' (1914-1915 Prospectus, p. 375).
