- The study of the various materials and their qualities, weights and measures
- Tools and appliances, their preparation and use
- Various technical methods and processes employed
- Methods of designing for the various processes and principals involved.
- Methods of making up and finishing.
- Cost of materials and of production, and business methods affecting the jeweller.
- Drawing and Design' (1914-1915 Prospectus, p. 370).
Policy: 'Conditions of Entry - This class is open to all persons whether taking the Normal Courses or not.'
'This class will be combined with the Metalwork and Enamelling Class until such time as there is a demand for a seperate class.'
