Description: 'The work will continue that of the Fourth Year Normal Course, but at this stage the student will give special attention to the history of the particular craft or branch of design selected for specialisation. Correct knowledge of the current nomenclature of ornament and of the various kinds of pattern is essential. Books of reference on the history of the various specialised branches of art work will be found in the School Library.' (1914-1915 Prospectus, p. 366)
