Description: R. A. Duncan read paper and showed slides. 'He confessed a pessimistic outlook on the present state of Art and Life, which he attributed to loss of faith and driving force of religious idealism. His paper was received with prolonged applause'. Post-interval, letters from C. F. A. Voysey and H. Speed were read. Wyon 'was cordially received by the brethren after his long absence from the Guild'; he read a short paper and was applauded warmly. He was followed by T. Sturge Moore, G. Cobb, H. G. Murphy, C. Thomas and J. R. Biggs. Duncan and Wyon replied (Fifty-sixth annual report of the committee of the Art Workers' Guild, 1940, p. 15).
Policy: Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Visitors must be introduced by a member' (Year's Art, 1913, pp. 169-70).
