Description: G. H. Chettle gave paper and showed slides; spoke of the 'aims and achievements of HM Office of Works in preserving the Historic Monuments of Great Britain. Was followed by T. Wilson, who showed slides. Post-interval, J. E. M. MacGregor spoke briefly; H. Speed, H. M. Fletcher, F. Emanuel, G. Cobb, A. Glover, J. R. Biggs and J. S. Wilson. Chettle answered questions (The fifty-fifth annual report of the committee of the Art Workers' Guild, 1939, p. 18).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Visitors must be introduced by a member' (Year's Art, 1913, pp. 169-70).
