Description: H. Coster gave paper and showed photographs, talked about photography as an inspiration to artists. He was followed by S. Eavestaff, who also showed slides, and spoke of the technical aspects of the subject. Post-interval, H. Nelson spoke about photographs displayed in the Hall, lent by Miller. The discussion included: H. Speed, C. Emanuel, D. Evans, H. T. Smith, M. J. Dawson, L. D. Luard, E. Newton, C. W. Hodges, E. Wallcousins and R. Hallward (The fifty-fifth annual report of the committee of the Art Workers' Guild, 1939, p. 15).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Visitors must be introduced by a member' (Year's Art, 1913, pp. 169-70).
