Description: S. Gooden read paper on title pages and showed slides. Post-interval, G. T. Friend spoke, and showed slides of engraved book plates, followed by P. Smith. N. Wilkinson was absent so H. Nelson spoke and showed slides; prints owned by F. Emanuel and C. Thomas were exhibited on the walls (Fifty-third annual report of the committee of the Art Workers' Guild, 1937, p. 11).
Policy: 'Meetings are held fortnightly, when papers are read and their subjects illustrated as fully as possible. Visitors must be introduced by a member' (Year's Art, 1913, pp. 169-70).
