Description: Took the form of a 'Cabaret Entertainment', for one night only, the hall set out with tables. Light refreshments were served by the following waiters, 'suitably attired': G. Bayes, J. Wedgwood, A. Glover and W. Aumonier. Other members [not sculptors] formed jazz orchestra for the night. C. R. Ashbee, H. Aitken, D. Braddell, H. T. Smith, L. Walker, D. Jarrett, P. Bentham, R. P. Gossop, H. Bulkeley Creswell, Hugh de Poix, W. H. Ansell, G. P. Mackeson, F. Marriott and F. W. Lawson provided 'turns'. Other members [not sculptors] showed specially designed decorative posters. Evening was 'very successful and amusing, Bohemian in character' (AWG annual report, 1932, p. 6).
